What is it

With the given prompts and practices at the start, they will be able to independently compare numbers and identify the symbols (>; <; =) at the end of the worksheet

Teaching Objectives

  • Learn how to compare numbers

  • Practice counting skills

  • Learn to read and follow instructions (circle, write, etc.)

  • Practice tracing and writing skills

  • Practice fine motor skills such as pencil grip through circling and colouring

How to use

  • Read the instructions aloud with your child

  • Highlight the instructions to your child

  • Use the prompts to teach and let your child understand what is required for them to do

  • Explain to your child what the worksheet is about (i.e. More than means the item has larger amount compared to another one; equals to means both items have the same amount of number)
