How to use
At the start of every shape there is a brief introduction on ways to identify that particular shape
Highlight important parts of the shape (e.g. number of sides)
Colour corresponding shape in the subsequent page
Teaching tips
Before attempting the colouring activity, get your child to find objects with that shape in his surroundings
Trace the shape using his finger or a writing tool
Embed more learning opportunities
Turn the activity into a fun game (i.e. “I spy with my little eye…”)
